The entire route follows the D400 dual carriageway east from Antalya Airport. The road passes through Aksu, Serik, the Belek junction (43 km mark), Manavgat, Side, and into the Alanya district. Okurcalar is the first coastal settlement of the greater Alanya zone, 15 km before Alanya town centre.

From the D400, the driver exits at Okurcalar and takes local roads to the beachfront. Delphin Botanik is well-signposted in the Okurcalar resort zone.

Journey time: 90 minutes in normal traffic. Peak July–August (13:00–19:00): the D400 around Antalya can add 20–30 minutes — worst case is 130 minutes. Night arrivals (after 22:00): the D400 is quiet and the drive can take as little as 90 minutes.

Follow these steps from landing to your vehicle:

Step 1 — Check your boarding pass for the terminal. Almost all international charter and package holiday flights land at Terminal 2. Your boarding pass will show ANTALYA T2. Domestic Turkish Airlines and Pegasus flights use T1. The driver meeting point differs — confirm T2 at booking.

Step 2 — Clear customs and collect baggage. After landing, follow the signs to baggage claim. The carousels are on the ground floor. Free Wi-Fi is available in the arrivals hall — connect immediately and use WhatsApp to confirm you have landed. Your driver is already in the building.

Step 3 — Exit customs and turn left. When you pass through the customs gate and the automatic sliding doors, turn left immediately. Private transfer drivers wait in the first zone on the left, before the taxi rank. Each driver holds a printed A4 sign with the passenger's surname in large text.

Step 4 — Find your name sign in the transfer company meeting area. The transfer zone is clearly marked. Drivers stand in an organised row — visible from 20 metres. Your driver will be holding a sign with your name and the Delphin Botanik logo or destination text.

Step 5 — Introduce yourself and confirm your booking reference. The driver will check your name against the booking. Your vehicle is parked in the designated private transfer bay immediately outside — a short 50-metre walk. The driver assists with luggage.

Step 6 — WhatsApp fallback if you cannot see your driver. Do not leave the arrivals hall. Send a WhatsApp message to your booking reference number — the dispatch team responds within 2 minutes at any hour. Drivers are inside the hall, not in the taxi queue or car park outside.

Waiting time: Your driver monitors your flight in real time. If your flight is delayed, the driver adjusts arrival accordingly. You receive 60 minutes of free waiting from actual landing — standard for the 90-minute luggage and customs process at T2. No additional charge for typical delays.

Delphin Botanik is in Okurcalar — a coastal resort village 15 km west of Alanya town centre. This makes it:

If you want easy access to Alanya market, the old town, or the harbour, a shuttle or taxi from Delphin Botanik takes 20 minutes. The hotel also runs periodic shuttle buses to Alanya town.

Night surcharge (+30%) applies to pickups starting 22:00–06:00. For example, the sedan day rate €160 × 1.30 = €208. Minivan night rate: €200 × 1.30 = €260.

Many charter flights serving Alanya-area hotels arrive between 23:00 and 02:00. Night arrivals at Okurcalar are smooth — the resort entrance is always staffed and reception is 24 hours. The driver meets you at the same Terminal 2 location regardless of hour — ground floor, left after customs, in the transfer company meeting area, holding a name sign.

The D400 is particularly fast at night with minimal traffic — the 90-minute journey time is realistic for after-22:00 arrivals, compared to up to 130 minutes in peak daytime. Book night transfers at least 48 hours in advance as the driver pool is smaller between 00:00 and 05:00. Flight tracking is active at all hours, so delays do not affect your pickup.

Free child seats: infant (0–13 kg), toddler (9–18 kg), booster (15–36 kg). Request the specific type at booking — seats must be fitted before the driver leaves the depot and cannot be added on the day.

The drive is 90–130 minutes depending on traffic. For young children on long journeys, a rest stop is possible at the Shell station at km 55 on the D400 near Serik — halfway to Okurcalar by distance. The station has toilets, a café, and a small shop. Ask your driver to stop if needed.

Delphin Botanik is one of the most family-friendly resorts in the Okurcalar zone — the aqua park, children's pools, and kids club are primary attractions. Families with young children are among the most frequent passengers on this route. The vehicle is air-conditioned and the D400 is a smooth dual carriageway with no sharp curves or altitude changes, making it a comfortable ride even for infants.

For a family of 4 travelling to an aqua park resort, a typical load is 4 suitcases, 1 pram, 4 carry-ons. A sedan handles 3 passengers comfortably but may be tight on luggage — a minivan is recommended for families with a pram.

July–August (peak season): The D400 eastbound from Antalya experiences checkout traffic from 13:00 to 19:00 — large all-inclusive resorts typically have 12:00 checkout, pushing a wave of hotel coaches and taxis onto the highway in early afternoon. Worst case is 130 minutes to Okurcalar during this window. Morning arrivals (before 11:00) and evening arrivals (after 20:00) avoid the worst of it. If your flight arrives in peak afternoon, build in the extra time. Book your transfer at least 2 weeks ahead in July and August — vehicles sell out on Saturdays.

Note for Alanya-direction routes: Unlike Belek and Lara routes which share the same D400 westbound, this route goes east — opposite direction to the morning check-out traffic from Lara hotels. The advantage is that eastbound D400 traffic is lighter in the mornings. The afternoon checkout wave is the main constraint.

October–March (low season): Significantly faster transfers — the D400 is uncongested and 100 minutes to Okurcalar is the reliable ceiling. Unlike Belek, there is no golf season effect on Alanya routes. Same-day bookings are generally available October through March. The sea is cooler and many Okurcalar hotels reduce to skeleton staffing outside July–September.

April–June and September: Shoulder season — moderate demand, all roads clear. Typical transfer time is 90 minutes with little variation. Delphin Botanik is open from April and this is a popular period for families avoiding peak prices.

All drivers speak functional English — enough to confirm your name, destination, and answer basic questions about the route. For passengers who prefer Russian, Russian-speaking drivers are available on request at booking. Note your language preference in the booking comments.

If there is a communication difficulty during the transfer, Google Translate works well in offline mode — download the Turkish language pack before travel. Alternatively, WhatsApp the dispatch team who can relay instructions to the driver.

Allow 3 hours before international departure: 90 minutes journey + 30 minutes buffer for traffic + 90 minutes for check-in and security. In peak July–August afternoon traffic, allow 3.5 hours.

Departure timing examples: a flight at 14:00 requires pickup at 10:30. A flight at 07:00 requires pickup at 03:30 — night rate applies (sedan €208). A flight at 20:00 requires pickup at 16:30, avoiding afternoon checkout traffic by departing before the 13:00–19:00 peak window.

Book the return transfer at the same time as the inbound — same fixed price, same flight tracking (the driver monitors your return flight too for any gate or schedule changes).

For a family of 4, the minivan at €200 works out cheaper per person than four individual bus journeys, and is 2+ hours faster. Licensed yellow metered taxis at the official rank are generally safe; the risk is from unlicensed touts who approach you before you reach the rank.

Resort layout: Delphin Botanik World spans 200,000 m² of tropical botanical gardens — the feature that gives it its name. The grounds include banana trees, palms, bougainvillea, and Mediterranean herb gardens maintained by a full-time horticulture team. The effect is visually striking even for guests arriving late at night.

Aqua park: The on-site waterpark includes 11 slides, a wave pool, and a lazy river — one of the largest private aqua parks among Okurcalar hotels. Open daily from June to September.

Beach: Private beach, 400 metres of sand. The beach is divided into quiet and family zones. Sun loungers included in the all-inclusive package. Water sports rental available on the beach.

Okurcalar village: Immediately outside the hotel zone, Okurcalar is a small coastal village with a few restaurants, a pharmacy, and a supermarket. For anything more, Alanya town (15 km east) is the nearest city with full retail.

Day trips from Okurcalar: Alanya old town (Alanya Castle, Damlataş Cave) — 20 minutes by private transfer. Boat tours along the Alanya coastline depart daily from Alanya harbour. Dim Cave (35 km north) — a stalactite cave reachable by private transfer in 40 minutes.
