Quick Answer

A private transfer from Antalya Airport (AYT) to Belek costs €80 for a sedan (1–3 passengers) or €105 for a minivan (1–8 passengers). The journey is 43 km and takes 45 minutes on the D400 dual carriageway — entirely flat, no mountain roads. Night transfers (22:00–06:00) cost 30% more: €104 sedan / €137 minivan. Your driver waits in Terminal 2 Arrivals Hall, left side before the automatic exit doors, holding a sign with your name. Price is fixed — no meter, no negotiation.

Distance, Journey Time & Traffic Reality

The airport-to-Belek route is one of the most straightforward transfers in Antalya. From the terminal, your driver takes the D400 dual carriageway heading east — the same road that runs along the entire Turkish Riviera. There are no mountains, no narrow coastal sections, and no toll roads.

Distances and times:

  • Antalya Airport T2 to Belek centre: 43 km
  • Antalya Airport T1 to Belek centre: 44 km (T1 exit is slightly further west)
  • Typical journey time: 45 minutes
  • Worst-case (Saturday 09:00–11:00, July–August): 55–60 minutes

Traffic patterns by season:

July and August are Antalya's peak months — Belek's hotels run at over 90% capacity and the Saturday check-out/check-in rotation generates significant morning traffic. Arrivals between 06:00 and 09:00 on Saturdays in peak season are the smoothest; arrivals between 09:00 and 11:00 hit the outbound checkout traffic on the D400. From September, traffic normalises and 45 minutes is reliable.

October and November are Belek's golf season — the weather is mild (20–26°C), courses are at peak condition, and demand for early morning and late afternoon transfers is high. Book in advance during golf season as driver availability fills faster.

Note on hotel location within Belek: The Belek resort zone stretches along a 15 km strip. Hotels closer to the D400 junction (e.g. Ela Quality Resort, IC Hotels Green Palace) are reached first — approximately 40 minutes. Hotels at the far eastern end of the strip (e.g. Calista Luxury Resort) add 5–10 minutes. All prices are the same regardless of position within the Belek zone.

  • Name sign in the arrivals hall
  • Wi-Fi on request

Step-by-Step: From Plane to Belek Hotel

At the airport

Step 1 — Land and clear customs. Antalya Airport T2 handles virtually all international charter and package holiday flights from Russia, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, UK, and Ukraine. Check your boarding pass — it will say "ANTALYA T2" or "ANTALYA T1". Most Belek tourists use T2.

Step 2 — Collect luggage. The baggage carousel area has free Wi-Fi — connect immediately so you can message the booking system if needed. While waiting for luggage, you can confirm your arrival with a quick WhatsApp message.

Step 3 — Exit through customs. Follow signs for "Arrivals" / "Çıkış" (exit). After the customs lane, you enter the main arrivals hall.

Step 4 — Find your driver. In T2: turn left immediately after exiting the automatic sliding doors. The private transfer waiting zone is the first area on your left, before the taxi rank. Drivers stand in a row holding printed A4 name signs. Your name will be on the sign exactly as entered at booking. Look for it at eye level.

In T1: the private transfer waiting zone is immediately to the right of the exit doors, on the ground floor.

If you cannot see your driver: Do not leave the arrivals hall. Send a WhatsApp message to the number provided in your booking confirmation — response is within 2 minutes. Do not accept offers from people who approach you before you reach the sign zone.

Step 5 — Vehicle and luggage. Your driver will take your luggage and escort you to the vehicle in the airport car park (2–3 minutes walk). A sedan holds 2 standard suitcases in the boot; a minivan holds 6. Oversized luggage (golf bags, prams, wheelchair) — see the dedicated section below.

The journey

Step 6 — D400 eastbound. The route is direct — D400 from the airport, 43 km to the Belek junction, then into the resort zone. The road is well-lit and dual carriageway throughout. In summer, the roadside oleander is in full bloom along this stretch.

Step 7 — Belek check-in. Larger resorts (Regnum Carya, Rixos Premium Belek, Cornelia Diamond) have guarded entrance gates — your driver will check in at the gate, which adds 3–5 minutes. Smaller boutique properties have direct entrance. Your driver knows all hotel entrances.

Step 8 — Payment. Pay the driver directly on arrival. Cash EUR is preferred. USD, GBP, and TRY are accepted. Card payment via SumUp reader available on request.

Private Transfer vs Taxi vs Bus: Honest Comparison

HAVAS airport bus€4–€8 per personMultiple stops — 60–90 minFixed scheduleCity bus stops onlyLimited night service✅ None
Rental car€30–€80/day + fuel + parkingSelf-driveQueue at deskSelfSelf✅ None (own risk)

On the taxi option: licensed yellow metered taxis are available at the official rank outside T2. They are generally safe — the risk is from unlicensed touts who approach you before you reach the rank. A metered taxi to Belek will typically cost €55–€75 depending on traffic. The advantage of a private transfer is the fixed price (no meter anxiety), the name sign, and the flight delay protection.

On the bus option: HAVAS buses run to Antalya city centre only — not to Belek. There is no direct bus service to Belek resort hotels. The only public-transport option would be HAVAS to the city, then a local dolmuş (minibus), which is impractical with luggage and adds 2–3 hours to the journey.

Night Transfer: What Changes After 22:00

Many flights into Antalya land late — particularly charter flights from Russia (Aeroflot, Ural Airlines, Pobeda), Germany (Condor, TUIfly), and the UK (TUI, Jet2) that depart in the morning and arrive in the evening Turkish time.

Night surcharge: 30% added to the base price, applied between 22:00 and 06:00 Turkey time (UTC+3). Example: sedan €80 → €104 at night. Minivan €105 → €137 at night.

Night journey conditions:

  • The D400 is significantly quieter at night — 45 minutes is reliable and often faster (35–40 minutes with clear roads)
  • The route is well-lit throughout
  • Driver pool is smaller between 22:00 and 06:00 — book at least 24 hours in advance for midnight arrivals

Flight tracking at night: works identically to daytime. If your flight is delayed, the driver adjusts and waits.

Seasonal Guide: When to Book in Advance

| Month | Demand | Recommended notice | |-------|--------|-------------------| | January–March | Very low | 24–48 hours is fine | | April–May | Medium | 48 hours recommended | | June | High | 3 days recommended | | July–August | Peak | Book 7+ days in advance | | September–October | High (golf season) | 3–5 days recommended | | November | Medium | 48 hours is fine | | December | Low | 24–48 hours is fine |

July and August: Antalya Airport processes over 4 million passengers per month at peak. The Belek corridor is running at near-100% hotel occupancy. Last-minute bookings are possible but driver availability cannot be guaranteed. Book when you book your flight.

Golf season (October–November): Demand for early morning transfers (05:00–08:00) to golf clubs is very high. Early tee times require very early airport departures — book these specifically and mention the golf club in the notes.

Travelling With Children

Belek is a highly family-friendly destination — most of the large all-inclusive resorts have extensive children's facilities. Here is everything you need to know for the transfer:

Child seats: available at no extra charge. Types available:

  • Infant seat (0–13 kg, Group 0+): for babies up to approximately 15 months
  • Toddler seat (9–18 kg, Group 1): for children 1–4 years
  • Booster seat (15–36 kg, Group 2/3): for children 4–12 years

How to request: mention the child's age and approximate weight in the booking notes field. We cannot guarantee availability for same-day requests — book in advance.

Journey suitability for young children: 45 minutes on a smooth motorway is generally well-tolerated. There are no sudden stops, mountain curves, or narrow roads. For very young infants, consider feeding before departure to make the most of the smooth drive.

Luggage with children: prams, travel cots, and bulky child equipment count as luggage items. A sedan comfortably handles 1 standard pram plus 2 suitcases. If you have a pram and 3+ suitcases, book a minivan.

Rest stops: the route is 45 minutes — rest stops are not standard. If you need a stop, ask the driver; there are petrol stations on the D400 where a 5-minute break is easy.

Golf Equipment, Oversized Luggage & Wheelchairs

Golf bags: Belek is Turkey's golf capital — we transfer golf equipment daily. A golf bag fits in the boot of a sedan alongside 1–2 standard suitcases. If you have 2 golf bags plus luggage for multiple passengers, book a minivan. Mention "golf bags" in the notes — the driver will confirm fit.

Bicycles and sporting equipment: surfboards, kiteboarding equipment, and bicycle cases require advance notice. Minivan or minibus booking required. Add dimensions in the notes at booking.

Wheelchairs: standard folding wheelchairs fit in all vehicle types. Electric wheelchairs (power chairs) and large mobility scooters require a minivan or minibus — mention this at booking. We do not currently offer wheelchair-accessible vehicles with ramps as standard, but these can be arranged with 48 hours notice.

Oversized luggage: the D400 is flat so there are no loading restrictions. Very large items (e.g. medical equipment, exhibition materials) — contact us before booking to confirm fit.

Language, Communication & Payment

Language with your driver: most Belek transfer drivers speak basic-to-intermediate English — sufficient for the transfer. Russian-speaking drivers are available on request (mention "Russian-speaking driver" in booking notes) — this is a popular request for the large Russian tourist group in Belek. German-speaking drivers are available with advance notice.

If there is a communication problem: the WhatsApp booking number operates 24/7. If you cannot communicate directly with your driver, message us and we relay.

Communication after landing: connect to the free Wi-Fi in the arrivals hall immediately. Your booking confirmation includes a WhatsApp number — send a message once you have your luggage.

Payment options:

  • Cash EUR — strongly preferred. Exact change is appreciated but not required.
  • Cash USD / GBP — accepted, converted at fair daily rate
  • Turkish Lira (TRY) — accepted, amount calculated at current rate
  • Card (Visa / Mastercard) — most vehicles carry a SumUp reader. Mention card preference at booking.
  • Russian rubles — NOT accepted. If travelling from Russia, withdraw EUR at the Antalya Airport ATMs (Garanti Bank, Yapı Kredi, İş Bankası) in the arrivals hall before your transfer.

Belek vs Side: Which Resort Should You Choose?

Both Belek and Side are popular Turkish Riviera destinations reachable from Antalya Airport in under an hour, but they suit very different travellers.

Belek is purpose-built for golf and all-inclusive luxury. The resort strip runs along the D400 highway between Serik and Kadriye and contains more than 20 five-star hotel complexes, 10 golf courses (Cornelia, Regnum Carya, PGA Sultan, and others), and direct beach access on a long sandy coastline. The transfer distance is 43 km; typical journey time is 40–45 minutes in low season or 50–55 minutes in July and August. If your holiday revolves around golf, a large family resort hotel, or a sports training camp, Belek is the obvious choice.

Side is 22 km further east (65 km from the airport, 60–75 minutes). Unlike Belek, Side has an actual historic town centre — Roman ruins, an ancient theatre, and a fishing harbour. The resort is split between modern hotel zones north of the town and the atmospheric old peninsula. Side suits couples who want some culture alongside beach time, and independent travellers who prefer staying in apartments or smaller hotels rather than giant all-inclusives.

| | Belek | Side | |---|---|---| | Distance from AYT | 43 km | 65 km | | Transfer time | 40–55 min | 60–75 min | | Transfer price (sedan) | €80 | €100 | | Golf courses | 10+ | None | | Historic town | No | Yes (Roman ruins) | | All-inclusive hotels | 20+ | 10+ | | Best for | Golf, luxury resorts | Culture + beach |

If you are travelling with golf equipment, large family groups, or specifically booked at a Belek resort hotel, there is no reason to go further. Side is the better choice only if the old town and historic ambience matter to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the transfer from Antalya Airport to Belek take?

The standard journey is 45 minutes. The route is entirely on the D400 dual carriageway — flat, well-lit, and fast. In July and August, check-out traffic on Saturday mornings (09:00–11:00) can add 10–15 minutes. Outside peak season and off-peak hours, 45 minutes is reliable. Allow 55 minutes if you have a Saturday morning arrival in summer.

How much does an Antalya Airport to Belek transfer cost?

Fixed prices in 2026: €80 for a sedan (1–3 passengers, 2 bags), €105 for a minivan (1–8 passengers, 6 bags), €130 for a VIP sedan, €180 for a minibus (up to 16 passengers). Night transfers (22:00–06:00 Turkey time) cost 30% more. There is no meter — the price is agreed before the journey.

Where does the driver wait at Antalya Airport?

In Terminal 2 Arrivals Hall, inside the building, on the left side as you exit through the automatic sliding doors after customs and baggage claim. Drivers hold a printed A4 sign with your name. The private transfer waiting zone is before the taxi rank — you cannot miss the row of drivers. If you exit Terminal 1, the waiting zone is immediately to the right after the exit doors.

Is there a night surcharge?

Yes — 30%, applied to transfers departing between 22:00 and 06:00 Turkey time (UTC+3). So a sedan that costs €80 during the day costs €104 at night. This is disclosed upfront at booking — there are no surprises on arrival.

Can I pay in euros, dollars or Turkish lira?

Cash payment in EUR is strongly preferred — it avoids currency conversion on arrival. USD and GBP are also accepted. Turkish lira (TRY) is accepted but requires knowing the current exchange rate. Most vehicles carry a SumUp card reader for Visa/Mastercard. Russian rubles are NOT accepted — if you're travelling from Russia, withdraw euros at the Antalya Airport ATMs before the transfer.

What if my flight is delayed?

The booking system tracks your flight in real time. If your flight is delayed by 2 hours, your driver adjusts their arrival time automatically — you are not charged extra. The driver waits up to 60 minutes after the scheduled landing time at no extra cost. If the delay exceeds 60 minutes, contact us on WhatsApp and we will reschedule.

Do you cover all Belek hotels?

Yes — all hotels in the Belek zone including Cornelia Diamond, Cornelia De Luxe, Regnum Carya, Rixos Premium Belek, Gloria Golf Resort, IC Hotels Green Palace, Calista Luxury, Ela Quality Resort, and all smaller properties. If your hotel is on the Belek side of the D400 corridor (up to Kadriye), the €80 price applies.

Is a child seat available?

Yes. Child seats (infant, toddler, and booster) are available at no extra charge. You must request the specific seat type at booking — we cannot guarantee availability for same-day requests. Mention the child's age and weight in the booking notes.

Can I get a receipt for my company expense claim?

Yes. Send us a WhatsApp message after the journey with your company name and VAT number. We issue a PDF receipt via email. Most European corporate travellers use this for expense reporting.

What is the difference between Belek and Side? Can I go to both?

Belek (43 km, 45 min, €80 sedan) and Side (65 km, 65 min, €100 sedan) are separate destinations on the D400 highway heading east. A transfer covers one destination only. If you need to visit both, book a separate day trip or two separate transfers. Many Belek hotels are close to Side — ask your hotel concierge about day trip options.

Is it safe to take a private transfer from Antalya Airport?

Yes — but only from a licensed operator. The risk is from unlicensed touts who approach you in the arrivals hall before you reach the official waiting zone. They are identifiable because they approach you proactively before you reach the driver signs. Licensed transfers: driver waits with a name sign in the designated zone. If approached by a tout before reaching the sign zone, decline and walk to the official area.

What vehicles do you use?

Sedans are typically Mercedes E-Class or similar. Minivans are Mercedes Vito (8 seats) or Sprinter (up to 16 seats for minibus bookings). All vehicles are air-conditioned, non-smoking, and have free Wi-Fi on request. VIP vehicles are Mercedes S-Class or BMW 7 Series.
