For mixed-size groups (e.g. 10 passengers), a minibus is more cost-effective than two minivans and avoids the coordination of two separate vehicles.

All prices fixed. Include tolls, meet and greet, and 60 minutes free waiting per vehicle from actual landing. No hidden extras.

Standard allowance: 1 main suitcase + 1 carry-on bag per person. Minivans accommodate 8 main bags; minibuses accommodate 12+ in the underfloor cargo bay.

Oversized items reduce capacity:

For groups with mixed oversized items (e.g. a family of 5 with a pram, 2 golf bags, and 5 suitcases), note all items at booking for vehicle confirmation.

Knowing typical and worst-case journey times lets you plan check-in and activity timing accurately. Groups often have more variables than solo travellers — delayed baggage for 12 people, passport queues, child toilet stops.

The D400 advantage for groups: The D400 dual carriageway is the main arterial road running east from Antalya Airport toward Belek, Side, and Alanya. It is well-maintained, four lanes, and lit at night — this is why group transfers to these destinations stay on schedule even in July. The route to Belek (35 km) is entirely on the D400 with no traffic lights, no roundabouts, and no altitude changes. Drivers know it well and journey times are consistent. For Side (65 km) and Alanya (110 km), the D400 continues in the same direction — same quality road, just longer.

The exception is Kemer and Kaş, which go west and eventually leave the coastal dual carriageway. Kemer routes use the O-21 motorway through the Taurus foothills — fine road, but with altitude variation and one tunnel section. Kaş involves a winding coastal mountain road after Kemer where 50–60 km/h is the norm: account for this in timings.

First-time group organisers often underestimate the logistics. Follow this walkthrough to avoid the common mistakes.

Step 1 — Count passengers and bags accurately. Count total passengers including children (even lap-held infants count for insurance). Count large bags: standard suitcases, golf bags, prams. A group of 8 adults with 8 suitcases, 2 golf bags, and 1 large pram needs a minibus — not a minivan. The extra cost is small; arriving with no space for bags is a memorable disaster.

Step 2 — Check your boarding pass for the terminal. Your boarding pass will show ANTALYA T1 or ANTALYA T2. Terminal 2 handles almost all international charter and package holiday flights from Germany, UK, Russia, Netherlands, and Poland. Terminal 1 handles domestic Turkish Airlines and Pegasus flights and some smaller charters. Book based on the correct terminal — driver meeting points differ.

Step 3 — Book with all flight numbers. Provide every flight number in the booking — even if they all arrive on the same flight. If part of the group is on a different flight, provide both. The system monitors each flight independently and updates the driver.

Step 4 — Request child seats and special equipment now. Child seats (infant, toddler, booster) are free — but they must be fitted before the driver leaves the depot. Same for wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Request at booking; a last-minute call from the arrivals hall cannot be accommodated.

Step 5 — Designate a group leader. The driver holds a name sign for the group leader. That person is the single point of contact. Assign one person and give them the booking reference and WhatsApp number before departure.

Step 6 — Connect to free Wi-Fi in arrivals immediately. Antalya Airport Terminal 2 Arrivals has free Wi-Fi. Connect while waiting for bags. Message the driver on WhatsApp to confirm you have landed — they will confirm their position in the meeting area.

Step 7 — If you cannot see the driver, WhatsApp first. Do not leave the arrivals hall looking for a driver in the car park. WhatsApp the booking reference number — the team responds within 2 minutes. Drivers are inside the hall, not outside with the taxis.

July–August peak: Antalya Airport handles over 1,200 flights per week in peak season — roughly one international arrival every 8 minutes on busy Saturdays. Minibuses and large minivans for group bookings fill up 2–3 weeks ahead of popular travel dates (Saturdays and Sundays in July and August). If you have a confirmed group departure, book immediately after flights are confirmed. Waiting until the week before in peak season risks vehicle unavailability.

Golf season (October–November): Belek is Europe's leading winter golf destination. October and November see high demand from UK, German, and Dutch golf groups. Minibuses with golf bag space and early-morning (05:00–07:00) departures are particularly constrained. Book 4+ weeks ahead for golf groups travelling October–November.

Low season (December–March): Same-day bookings are generally available for most destinations and vehicle types. Exception: late-night (00:00–04:00) in January–February — driver pool is small and vehicles may not be available on short notice. Still advisable to book 48 hours ahead.

April–June and September: Shoulder season — moderate demand, good availability, usually bookable 1 week ahead even for groups. This is also the best time for day-trip groups to coastal destinations.

Groups often arrive on different flights — charter packages sometimes split a group across two aircraft, or some members book independent flights. Options:

Option 1 — Wait for all flights: The driver waits at Terminal 2. Free waiting: 60 minutes per flight. If Flight A lands at 21:00 and Flight B lands at 23:00, the driver waits from 21:00 to around 23:30 (landing + 30 min baggage). Waiting beyond 60 minutes per flight incurs a small hourly charge — confirm at booking.

Option 2 — Separate pickups: One driver per flight, meeting at the hotel. More expensive but avoids long waits. Useful when flights are 3+ hours apart.

Option 3 — Partial group departs first: First arrivals go to the hotel; driver returns for the second flight. This requires two booking slots — ask for a round-trip group quote.

Many package holidays arrive at night — charter flights from Germany, UK, Russia, and Poland frequently land between 22:00 and 02:00 at Antalya. Night surcharge (+30%) applies to all vehicles for pickups between 22:00 and 06:00 Turkey time.

At night, Terminal 2 is less crowded but fully operational. The driver waiting area is the same — left side after customs, ground floor, in the transfer company meeting zone, holding a name sign. Groups are met at the same point regardless of hour.

Night driving conditions: The D400 dual carriageway to Belek and Side carries very light traffic after midnight — journey times are 10–15 minutes shorter than daytime. Road lighting is adequate on the D400. For Alanya, the 110 km journey takes around 90 minutes at night vs 105–120 minutes in peak daytime traffic.

Night driver pool: Our driver pool is smaller between 00:00–05:00. Book night group transfers at least 48 hours in advance to guarantee vehicle availability. Flight tracking is active at all hours — the driver monitors your landing and adjusts arrival accordingly.

Golf groups to Belek are among the most common group transfers at Antalya Airport. Key planning points:

Licensed yellow metered taxis at the official Antalya Airport rank are available and generally safe from the official rank. However, hiring 8 separate taxis for a group of 8 costs €120–160 each — up to €1,280 total compared to a single minivan at €105. For groups of 5 or more, the per-person maths strongly favours a private minivan: lower total cost, one payment, no coordination across 8 separate drivers, and all bags travel with the group.

Unlicensed touts approach passengers in the arrivals hall — always walk past them to the official transfer meeting zone or the official taxi rank inside the terminal.

Meet in the arrivals hall: All group members should exit customs together if possible. The driver waits just past the customs exit on the left side of the Terminal 2 Arrivals hall, ground floor, in the transfer company meeting area, holding a sign with the group leader's name.

Bag collection: With a group of 8–12 people, luggage collection from carousels takes 20–30 minutes. The 60 minutes of free waiting from landing covers this comfortably. Groups should designate one person to lead the luggage collection.

Language: Our drivers speak English as a standard minimum. For Russian-speaking groups, specify at booking — Russian-speaking drivers are available for most routes with 12 hours notice. For German groups, German-speaking drivers are available for Belek, Lara, and city routes.

Payment: The group organiser typically pays in a single transaction. EUR cash is easiest — bring exact change if possible. USD, GBP, and Turkish Lira (TRY) cash are also accepted. Card payment (Visa or Mastercard) via the driver's SumUp reader is available in all vehicles. No online prepayment is required.

Child seats for group travel: Free child seats on request — infant (0–13 kg), toddler (9–18 kg), booster (15–36 kg). Specify the number and types of seats needed at booking. For a family group of 8+ with multiple children, note this at booking so all seats are pre-fitted.

Worst-case timing for groups: In July–August on peak arrival Saturdays, passport control can take 45–60 minutes for large groups, and baggage can take 30 minutes. Factor 90 minutes from landing to vehicle — still within the 60-minute free waiting window in most cases. Communicate with the driver via WhatsApp if you are significantly delayed.
