The route is entirely on the D400 dual-carriageway east from Terminal 2 — no mountain roads, no narrow sections, and no significant elevation change. This is one of the easiest transfers from Antalya Airport: a straight, fast highway all the way to the Belek exit. The D400 runs 4 lanes wide for most of the journey, reducing to 2 lanes at the Belek junction.

From the terminal exit, the driver joins the D400 eastbound. After 43 km the Belek exit appears. The driver turns south into the Belek Tourism Zone, which has its own entry security checkpoint — a lightweight barrier that checks vehicles entering the zone. This is a zone-level check, not a hotel-specific one; it typically takes under 30 seconds. Within the zone, Cornelia Diamond is well-signposted and located 3 km from the zone entrance, in the southern part of the resort area near the beach.

Typical journey time: 45 minutes. Peak July–August afternoon (13:00–19:00): allow 60–70 minutes as the D400 eastbound approach to Belek sees heavier traffic from family holidaymakers. Saturday afternoon is the single busiest time — major hotel changeover day. Night and early morning arrivals: 45 minutes consistently, as the D400 is near-empty between 22:00 and 06:00.

The road itself is smooth tarmac throughout — no potholes, no speed bumps on the D400. Inside the Belek Tourism Zone the zone roads are well-maintained private roads, also smooth. The 45-minute journey is comfortable even for young children who may be asleep.

Cornelia Diamond has a 24-hour security boom gate at the hotel entrance — a distinctive feature compared to some other Belek resorts that have open driveways.

Your driver stops at the gate. The security guard asks for the guest name and reservation reference. Provide your surname and booking confirmation number (visible in your hotel booking email). The guard checks the guest list and raises the barrier — this typically takes 1–2 minutes.

If you arrive without a confirmed reservation reference (e.g. a last-minute booking still being processed), the guard will call the front desk to confirm. Keep your hotel booking confirmation accessible on your phone.

Your driver is familiar with this procedure and will prompt you if needed. There is no requirement for passport presentation at the gate — just your name and reservation.

Many UK and German package flights arrive at Belek-bound times of 23:00–02:00. Factor the night rate into your holiday budget. Book in advance — the driver pool is smaller between 00:00 and 05:00 and vehicles fill quickly on peak nights.

The Cornelia Diamond transfer is well-suited to families with young children. The journey is 45 minutes on a smooth, flat dual-carriageway — very different from routes like Kemer (mountain road sections) or Kaş (winding coastal cliffs). Most toddlers sleep through the drive. There are no sharp bends, no altitude changes, and no jarring road sections.

Child seats: Free on request — infant (0–13 kg), toddler (9–18 kg), booster (15–36 kg). All seats are EU-standard certified. Late arrivals with babies: If your flight lands after 22:00, the night surcharge applies but the journey is actually easier — the road is quiet, and most babies stay asleep. There is no dedicated feeding/changing stop on the route. The Belek zone roads inside the resort area are very smooth, so the transfer does not disturb sleeping children.

Wheelchair users and accessible vehicles: Accessible vehicles are available on request at booking. The Belek Tourism Zone roads are flat and fully accessible. Cornelia Diamond itself has full wheelchair access throughout the hotel and golf academy.

Large family groups: A family of two adults with two children, two standard suitcases, and a pushchair is best served by a minivan. October–November (golf season peak): The busiest period for transfers to Cornelia Diamond. The European Tour season has concluded, the Faldo Course is in top condition after summer heat, and temperatures sit at 18–26°C — ideal playing conditions. Saturday arrivals at this time of year see heavy transfer demand. Book your transfer at least 48 hours in advance, ideally at the same time as your flight. Minivans sell out first on peak October weekends.

December–February (off-season): Quieter, and a good opportunity to book last-minute if needed. January–February temperatures average 10–15°C — cold for sunbathing but perfectly acceptable for golf with the right clothing. The Faldo Course remains open throughout winter except in rare frost events. Transfer prices do not change in winter; hotel rates at Cornelia are significantly lower. March–May (spring golf): The second peak season. Wildflowers across the Belek pine forests, green rough after winter rain, and consistent 16–24°C temperatures. June–September (summer family season): Golf tourists largely give way to beach and family holidaymakers at Cornelia Diamond in high summer. The all-inclusive facilities — pools, beach, restaurants — are at full capacity. Transfers to Belek in this period see heavier traffic: allow 60–70 minutes on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Early-morning golf starts (before 09:00) remain popular as the course is still cool. July and August are not recommended for midday golf — temperatures can reach 38°C.

If communication is difficult at the gate: The Cornelia Diamond security guards speak Turkish and basic English. Your driver handles all gate communication — you do not need to speak Turkish. If the guard requires additional confirmation, the driver contacts the hotel front desk directly by phone.

Note: Licensed yellow metered taxis at the official airport rank are regulated and generally safe. The risk of overcharging comes from unlicensed touts who approach passengers inside the arrivals hall — these are not regulated. For families travelling with golf bags, metered taxi boot space is a practical limitation: most sedans fit 1–2 golf travel bags only.

The Faldo Course: The signature golf offering at Cornelia Diamond is the 27-hole course designed by Sir Nick Faldo — widely regarded as the finest course in Belek and among the top five in Turkey. The layout plays in three 9-hole configurations (Olive, Lake, and Forest loops). The Lake loop is the most photographed, with holes running along the resort's central lake system. Cornelia Diamond sits in the southern part of the Belek Tourism Zone, close to the beach. The zone itself is a managed resort district — no commercial development within the zone boundary, which keeps the streets quiet and resort-focused.

Beach access: Cornelia has a private beach via the hotel grounds — 200 metres from the main hotel building through the garden. Beach umbrellas and sunbeds are included in the all-inclusive package.
