There are three different Rixos hotels in the Antalya region. Make sure you are booking the correct one:

Rixos Premium Belek — 43 km east of the airport. Turkey's flagship Rixos property. 1,165 rooms on 220,000 m². The golf course, The Land of Legends theme park adjacent, and Belek resort zone. THIS is the hotel covered in this article.

Rixos Sungate — Located in Kemer, 58 km WEST of the airport (different direction). Price from airport: €140 VIP sedan, €110 minivan. Do not confuse with Rixos Premium Belek.

Rixos Downtown Antalya — City hotel in Konyaaltı district, 15 km west of the airport. Price: €50 sedan, €65 minivan. This is a city hotel, not a beach resort.

When booking, enter the full hotel name: "Rixos Premium Belek" to ensure the system routes you to Belek, not Kemer or Konyaaltı.

Rixos Premium Belek has a specific entrance procedure that differs from other Belek hotels. Your driver knows this, but being aware yourself avoids any confusion.

Security checkpoint: The resort access road ends at a manned security checkpoint. The driver pulls up, presents the booking reference (on their phone), and the barrier opens. This process takes 2–3 minutes.

The resort road: after the checkpoint, the driver continues 400 metres to the main hotel entrance. The road inside the resort is private — no public traffic.

Main canopy drop-off: the vehicle pulls up under the main hotel canopy. This is a covered drop-off area with the signature Rixos columns and lighting. You do not get out at the checkpoint — the drop-off is at the main entrance.

Porter service: Rixos porters in uniform are stationed at the canopy. The driver parks at the canopy and porters take bags directly from the boot — the passenger walks 5 metres from car door to reception. You do not carry your own bags.

CRITICAL — metered taxis are NOT allowed: the Rixos resort road is a private access road. Licensed metered taxis from Antalya Airport are not permitted to use it. If you arrive at Antalya Airport without a pre-booked transfer and attempt to take a metered taxi, the driver will drop you at the checkpoint and the hotel will arrange a resort vehicle to complete the journey — an additional cost and delay. This is why pre-booking a private transfer is not just convenient at Rixos — it is the only option that provides direct drop-off at the main canopy.

Payment: made securely online by card (Visa, Mastercard) at booking and charged in EUR. No payment to the driver is required.

Rixos Premium Belek is a luxury property with a discerning clientele. The VIP sedan option is worth considering.

VIP Sedan (Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series): €130

For 1–3 passengers with moderate luggage, a VIP sedan provides:

For families of 4–6 passengers: the minivan (€105) is more practical regardless of hotel tier — the VIP sedan seats only 3.

Russian business travellers: the VIP sedan is particularly popular with Russian business visitors to Antalya who are travelling on company expense. The vehicle type is visible at the hotel arrival and is consistent with the Rixos brand standard.

At Antalya Airport — most guests use Terminal 2. Russian charter flights (Nordwind, IFly), UK charters (Jet2, TUI), German charters (Condor), and Turkish Airlines international all use T2.

Baggage reclaim: allow 15–30 minutes after landing for baggage. Charter flights from Russia and the UK can have busy carousels in peak season. This is within the 60-minute free waiting window.

Meeting your driver: exit through automatic doors after customs — your driver is ground floor Arrivals, left side, with a printed A4 sign bearing your surname. Inside the hall, before the exit to outside.

Walk to vehicle: 5 minutes to the car park. Driver loads luggage.

The drive (45 minutes): D400 east, flat dual-carriageway the entire route. Climate-controlled vehicle. If you need a comfort stop, the Serik service station is at km 38, 7 minutes before Rixos.

Rixos checkpoint: driver registers your booking reference. Barrier opens. 2–3 minute process.

Main canopy: driver drops you at the hotel entrance. Rixos porters take luggage. Your transfer is already paid securely online by card at booking — no payment to the driver is required.

Check-in: 24-hour front desk. Standard check-in is 14:00 but night arrivals are fully accommodated — a room or temporary room is always available. Late-night arrival with luggage storage until your room is ready is standard.

A significant number of Rixos guests arrive late — UK and German charter flights often land at 21:00–23:00. Russian Nordwind and IFly flights regularly arrive between 22:00 and 02:00.

Night price (+30% surcharge after 22:00): Sedan €80 × 1.30 = €104 · Minivan €105 × 1.30 = €137 · VIP Sedan on request. The surcharge is shown at booking — it is never added afterward.

Journey time at night: 38–40 minutes. The D400 is empty at night — no coach traffic, no checkout queues, 90 km/h the whole way.

Advance booking is essential between 00:00 and 05:00: the driver pool is smaller at these hours. Book when you book your flight, not the morning of travel. Same-day bookings for 03:00 arrivals may not be fulfilled.

WhatsApp fallback: if you exit customs and cannot see your driver, connect to AYT-Free-Wifi and WhatsApp the number in your confirmation. Response is prompt — the driver is almost always in the building or the adjacent car park.

Rixos at night: the front desk is staffed 24/7. The security checkpoint is manned 24/7. Porter service continues through the night — this is a flagship luxury property and night arrivals are expected.

Restaurants at night: most Rixos restaurants close at 22:00–23:00. The 24-hour snack bar/lounge is always open. Room service operates all night.

Practical note: if you arrive at 01:00 after a delayed charter flight, you will be received professionally. The 60-minute free wait and flight tracking mean your driver adjusted automatically for the delay.

Rixos Premium Belek is surrounded by Belek's golf infrastructure. Guests who golf should note:

Belek Golf Club (PGA Sultan Course): 2 km from the resort, Turkey's most prestigious course. The resort has a shuttle service to the club.

Golf bags at the airport: specify "golf equipment" at booking. Hard cases require a minivan. The oversized baggage belt in T2 is where golf bags are collected — not the standard carousel.

The Land of Legends: adjacent to the resort, one of Turkey's largest theme parks. Families arriving for both resort and theme park should plan their first day accordingly — the park opens at 10:00.

Peak golf season: April–June and September–October. Book transfers 48 hours in advance.

Rixos Premium Belek is highly family-friendly despite its luxury positioning — it has extensive children's facilities including Rixy Kids Club, multiple pools, and a dedicated water park section.

Child seats: available on request at no extra charge. Specify at booking: infant (0–13 kg), toddler (9–18 kg), or booster (15–36 kg).

Journey with children: 45 minutes on flat motorway — fine for any age.

Night arrivals with children: vehicles are climate-controlled and quiet. At 35°C in July, the air conditioning is running from departure.

Minivan for families: if you have 2+ children with a stroller or more than 4 suitcases, book the minivan.

Rixos guests typically travel with more luggage than average — multiple large suitcases, golf bags, and strollers are common.

Sedan (Toyota Corolla / Skoda Octavia): boot fits 3 standard 23 kg suitcases. A carry-on and a small backpack can go on the back seat. If you have 4 large bags, book the minivan.

Minivan (Ford Transit Custom / VW Caravelle): boot and rear loading area fit 6 large suitcases. The correct choice for families travelling with 2 adults, 2 children, stroller, and holiday luggage.

Golf bags: hard golf travel cases require a minivan — they do not fit in a sedan boot. Specify "golf equipment" at booking. In Terminal 2, golf bags arrive on the Oversized Baggage Belt, not the standard carousel — allow an extra 10 minutes.

Strollers and pushchairs: fold-flat pushchairs fit in a sedan boot alongside 2 suitcases. Large pram systems (Bugaboo, iCandy) require a minivan. Specify at booking.

Wheelchairs: folding manual wheelchairs fit in a sedan or minivan boot. Powered wheelchairs require the minivan. An accessible vehicle with ramp can be arranged on request — specify at booking with dimensions.

Ski and sports equipment: the Belek golf season does not overlap with ski season, but if you are transiting: ski bags fit in the minivan with 2 suitcases. Surfboards require the minibus.

The Antalya Airport to Rixos Premium Belek route is busy year-round but demand patterns vary sharply by month.

July–August (peak season): the busiest charter flight period. Flights from Russia, UK, Germany, and Netherlands fill T2 from 06:00 to 03:00 the following morning. Journey time from airport: 45 minutes typical, 55 minutes if you depart between 08:00 and 11:00 (hotel checkout traffic on D400). Book transfers at least 48 hours ahead. Same-day availability is not guaranteed in July and August.

April–June and September–October (golf season): Belek hosts the Turkish Airlines Open and attracts tournament visitors plus serious golf tourists. Early-morning demand for airport pickups is high. Book 48 hours ahead minimum. Journey times return to the standard 45 minutes.

November–March (shoulder season): lower tourist volumes, faster journeys (38–42 minutes typical), and easier same-day availability. A good time to visit Rixos if you prefer a quieter resort experience. Prices remain the same — there is no seasonal price variation on fixed-price transfers.

Russian charter schedule note: IFly and Nordwind increase frequency dramatically from May through September, with most flights arriving between 22:00 and 04:00. If your flight is from a Russian city in summer, plan for a night arrival.

Most passengers travelling to Rixos are Russian, German, or British. Communication with your driver is straightforward.

English: all drivers have functional transfer English — enough to confirm your name, destination, and passenger count. Extended conversation is not guaranteed, but transfer logistics are covered.

Russian: Russian-speaking drivers are available on request. Given the large Russian guest base at Rixos Premium Belek, this is a frequently used option. Specify "Russian-speaking driver preferred" in the booking notes.

German: limited availability. Specify at booking — a German-speaking driver will be matched if available.

WhatsApp is the universal fallback: if there is any communication difficulty at the airport, open WhatsApp and message the number in your booking confirmation. The support team replies in English and Russian. Response is typically prompt during airport hours.

Google Translate works well on this route: if your driver has no shared language with you, open Translate on your phone. Type the hotel name or your request — the driver will understand. The Rixos Premium Belek destination is unambiguous once shown on screen.
