Antalya Airport to Konyaaltı is 15 km. The route follows the D400 dual-carriageway westbound through Kepez district into central Antalya before reaching the beach promenade on the western edge of the city. Unlike the Belek or Side routes — which head east on an uninterrupted fast road — this route is urban for most of its length. You pass through Kepez (a large working residential district), cross the Antalya city ring, and descend towards the sea. It is not complicated for a driver who knows it, but it explains why GPS estimates sometimes undercount the time.

Journey time: 25 minutes in normal traffic. Peak summer (July–August): 30–35 minutes due to city traffic on the D400 approach. Night arrivals (00:00–05:00): under 20 minutes — the urban sections are clear. Allow 40 minutes if you land between 08:30 and 10:30 on a Saturday or Sunday in peak season, when hotel checkout traffic runs in the same direction.

All prices are fixed, per vehicle (not per person), and include terminal waiting, luggage assistance, and the driver meeting you inside the arrivals hall. No hidden extras.

Night price applies to pickups between 22:00 and 06:00. The surcharge is calculated at booking and shown on your confirmation — no surprises at the vehicle.

Nearly all international charter and package-holiday flights — from the UK, Germany, Russia, Netherlands, and Poland — arrive at Terminal 2. If your boarding pass says "ANTALYA T2", follow these steps:

1. Clear passport control and collect luggage. Free Wi-Fi is active in the baggage hall — connect immediately and check your WhatsApp for a message from the driver confirming your booking reference.

2. Pass through customs and exit through the automatic sliding doors. You are now in the public arrivals hall.

Kepez district: The residential area your driver passes through en route from the airport. Cheaper accommodation than the beachfront, honest local restaurants, and no tourist pricing. Not a beach location but 15 minutes by bus to Konyaaltı.

Antalya taxis are licensed, metered, and generally safe from the official rank. The documented risk is not the official rank but unlicensed touts inside the terminal who quote inflated flat rates. Here is an honest comparison:

A metered taxi from the official rank (outside T2, turn right after exit) is a legitimate cheaper option for a solo traveller with one bag arriving in daylight. July–August (peak season): Antalya city traffic is at its worst during the day. The D400 through Kepez sees significant congestion between 08:00–10:30 and 17:00–19:00. November–April (low season): Konyaaltı receives fewer tourists in winter but the beach promenade remains open and local life continues. Transfer prices are the same year-round. Weather note: Antalya receives almost all its annual rain between November and March. The D400 westbound route is entirely urban and flat — no mountain sections, no ice risk, no seasonal road closures. Winter transfers are safe and predictable.
